Summer Days Card

It's hard to believe that it's already the final day of July! This summer has flown by. This stamp set, called Summer Days, is a host set that can only be earned (or purchased) when an order is $150+. I highly recommend getting this set if you are able!

I used Cinnamon Cider as the card base, and used Stampin' Blends to color in the path, grass, and trees. I'm excited to create some fall themed cards with this set as well!

Graduation Card for Any Grad!

I'm excited to share another graduation card that is simple to make, and looks great for any grad! You can swap out the colors to make the card work for your grad's school colors.

The "Congratulations" stamp is from the Well Said stamp set, the "Grad!" cutout is from the Pattern Play bundle, and the grad hats are from an old Paper Pumpkin kit.

Whiskey Business Cards Using Different DSP Backgrounds

I've been loving creating cards with the Whiskey Business stamp set! It's such a great stamp set, and these cards were so quick and easy to make.

These DSP patterns (the background pieces) are from the Flowers For Every Season 6x6 DSP pack. I love that these patterns are not too flowery!

The cardstock for the card base, DSP, and blends used to color the whiskey are all Cinnamon Cider. The sentiment is Whisper White scrap cardstock that I cut down to fit the sentiment.

Card Using Product from the NEW Mini Catalog!

Stampin' Up!'s NEW Mini Catalog launches on August 4! As a demonstrator, I've already had the privilege of ordering from the new catalog -- and let me tell you, this is a great catalog!

I didn't share a card this past Wednesday, because I have been cat sitting over the past month. The card I show you tonight was created for one of the neighbors. One of the nights, the power went out early morning (2a) and came back on around 5a. When it came back on, the surge of power set off the fire alarms in the house. The neighbor across the street came to the rescue and helped us reset the alarm, so the card today is the one I made for him!

This stamp set from the new Mini Catalog is called "Coming Home." While this stamp set is shown as a winter set in the new Mini, I used it with neutrals to create this card for him.

I am getting these new Mini Catalogs out in the mail early next week to everyone who has shopped with me in the past year. If you'd like a catalog, please contact me and let me know -- I'd be happy to send you one!

And, for good measure, here's a fun picture of the cats I've been watching!

Thank You Card Using Ornate Garden DSP

When you need a quick card, it's so easy to use DSP to add a lot of interest and create a card with little time.

This card uses Mint Macaron and Crumb Cake cardstock behind the DSP layer. I also added some ribbon behind the DSP to give it a bit more!

Diagonal Slash Card with Forever Greenery Suite

The Diagonal Slash cards have been becoming increasingly popular, and are surprisingly so easy to make! I used the Forever Fern bundle to create the card below.

I used the DSP from the Forever Greenery suite and added a bit of coordinating cardstock to the edge to add interest. I stamped the "Hello" stamp three times -- the middle "hello" is in a darker green, while the two side "hello"s are in lighter green ink. The DSP panels are popped up with dimensionals, which adds to the card!

Graduation Card Using Scrappy Strip Technique

The pandemic has thrown a wrench into most graduates party plans this summer. I'm glad to still be invited to a couple of grad parties, and to celebrate the seniors and all of the hard work they've put in!

I used scraps of cardstock and DSP to create this blue-themed graduation card for a party I went to this past weekend. The grad cap is made from the Tailored Tag punch (so versatile!). I used a fork and some extra Paper Pumpkin thread to create the tassel.

15 Minute Card Using Blossoms in Bloom Bundle

Recently, my family celebrated my sister's birthday! I was so excited to create a beautiful card for her birthday, as she is one of the best people I have ever known, and I am so grateful to be her sister.

This card uses the Blossoms in Bloom bundle from the catalog. I used Poppy Parade, Whisper White, and Basic Black. The sentiment and flower (on the strip of Poppy Parade) were heat embossed using white embossing powder. Best thing? The card took just 15 minutes to make and it is stunning!

Happy birthday to the best sister ever!

Happy Birthday Card Using Best Year Bundle

I am participating in a swap and designed this card using the Best Year bundle! I love using this bundles - the dies alone dress up any card!

For this card, I used a Whisper White card base, and my layers are So Saffron and Pool Party. The die cut layer and cardstock for the sentiment is also done in So Saffron. I then added some of our pearls to embellish!

I'm excited to share my return swap cards with you once I receive them - I'm participating in two separate swaps so I'll be receiving more than 20 different cards in return!

Using Blends to Create a Background

I love using Stampin' Blends® to color in projects, and I recently saw a card where someone had used their Blends to create a background for their card and thought it was brilliant!

This card uses Pool Party, Purple Posy, and So Saffron cardstock and Blends. I used the fatter side of the Blend first, and then used the skinnier side. The pattern I used was: Dark Pool Party, Light Purple Posy, Dark So Saffron, Light Pool Party, Dark Purple Posy, Light So Saffron. I continued this pattern until the whole piece of Whisper White was covered.

Using Blossoms in Bloom and Timeless Tulips to Create a Sympathy Card

Recently a coworker of mine lost her mom. Sympathy cards seem to be the hardest cards to make, since losing someone can be so difficult. I used the new Blossoms in Bloom stamp set and the returning Timeless Tulips stamp set to create this sympathy card to let my coworker know just how sorry I was for her loss.

The flowers are from Blossoms in Bloom, while both sentiments (on the front of the card and inside the card) are from Timeless Tulips. I stamped the flowers in Bumblebee and then did the middle of the flowers and the sentiments in Misty Moonlight.

Using Blends to Create Water

I've been loving finding alternate ways to use my Blends markers other than just coloring stamped images with them. I was so excited to use several colors to create water with the Sailing Home stamp set!

This card was a very simple one to make. After stamping the sailboat and using blends for the water, I stamped the birds and sentiment and adhered the layers of cardstock together.

It's that simple! Isn't it a stunning card?

Card Using the "Whiskey Business" Stamp Set

I am seriously loving the new Whiskey Business stamp set! It is perfect for anyone in your life who may like whiskey, and it's especially good for making more masculine-themed cards for birthdays, congratulations, and Father's day.

I loved creating this card and showing off some incredible DSP! The whiskey was colored using the Cinnamon Cider blends, and the sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. I love the versatility of this card and that it can be used for any occasions!
