Quick and Easy Cards Using Laser Cut Specialty Paper

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice and relaxing weekend. On Saturday, I went to a lake nearby with my family, including my niece and nephew!

Today, I'm excited to share a card with you that was super quick and easy to make!

You can use any color cardstock for the base of the card. Then, I used the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper as a background piece. I used black ink to stamp the sentiment on a cut out from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (tip: flip it over to get a white side!). Pictured above is a "Thank You" card, and below is the same layout for a "Happy Birthday" card!

Simple Thank You Card Using Playful Patterns

Today I'm sharing a simple Thank You card using the Playful Patterns suite!

I used the patterned paper in the set as the main focal point and tied the ribbon around the layers to create a beautiful bow!

In the Pines Thank You Card

I have been so busy over the past few weeks, so please forgive me that I haven't posted much! I photographed around 70 cards on Sunday afternoon that I am so excited to share with you. Today, I'm sharing a Thank You card I made using the In the Pines stamp set!

I used Just Jade cardstock and ink for the background imagery. The sentiment is Early Espresso, and the embellishments were leftover from a past Paper Pumpkin kit!

Masking Technique to Create a Quick and Easy Card

I used the Forever Greenery suite collection to create this quick and easy card using a masking technique!

To do the masking technique, I simply put a square post-it note in the middle of my Whisper White cardstock and stamped all around it using the leaf stamps. Then, I removed the post-it note and stamped the sentiment in the center of the card!

Have you ever tried a masking technique? There are a lot of different ways to do it!

Ornate Garden Thank You Card

I LOVE the Ornate Garden bundle because I love to color! I'm excited to share a cute Thank You card using this bundle.

I used the Designer Series Paper (patterned paper) from this suite to create a little border around two sides of the card. I used Stampin' Blends to color in the flowers and leaves. I just love this card!
