Gilded Autumn Card #5

I've been sharing cards made with the Gilded Autumn suite all week, and have a few more cards to share with you using this awesome suite featured in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog! Today's card was designed by Darla Roberts.

Darla used sponging on the sentiment, which is so beautiful! I love to sponge, and can't wait to do it more. Below are the products Darla used on this card:

Gilded Autumn Card #4

Today, I'm sharing another Gilded Autumn card done by the brilliant Jessye Chancey-Higginbotham!

In this card, Jessye focused on the neutral colors of the suite, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso. I love that she made her own patterned paper, and stamped the images in an ombre effect, so it get lighter from top to bottom! Below are the products Jessye used:

I'm coming to you today with another beautiful card from the Gilded Autumn suite! I received today's card from a card swap I participated in, but the demonstrator who designed this card didn't leave their name. Thank you to the designer!

Gilded Autumn Card #1

One of my absolute favorite suites in the August-December Mini Catalog is the Gilded Autumn suite! Over the next week-and-a-half, I'll be sharing several cards made with this adorable fall suite!

Today's card was done by Lori Ingebritson. I received it in a recent card swap, and I love Lori's design!

The corresponding colors for the Gilded Autumn suite are Mint Macaron, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla -- lovely for fall card making!

I love how Lori used the Designer Series Paper, leaf and acorn punches, and Brushed Metallic Cardstock from this suite. She used gold embossing powder on the sentiment, and the heart punch is from the Dog Builder punch -- how clever!

Life is Beautiful Card

Today, I'm sharing a swap card I received, that was beautifully created by Pam Zimmerman! In this card, she features the Life is Beautiful stamp set.

Below are the products that Pam used on this card:

Didn't she do just a lovely job with this card? I can't wait to send it out to a friend!

Showing Off Your DSP

I'll be honest... sometimes I have the HARDEST time cutting my Designer Series Paper! It is so stunning that I find it so hard to just chop into it. I love the card I'm sharing today as it showcases the Playing with Patterns DSP!

I used the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots on the sentiment. I love these embellishments as they are flatter and so easy to fit into envelopes! A used a scrap of Whisper White cardstock for the sentiment, which was stamped in black using the Peaceful Moments stamp set. The ends of the sentiment were punched using the Banners Pick a Punch.

Forever Greenery DSP to Create Cards

The Forever Greenery suite is truly stunning, and I love the variety of occasions and color combinations you can use with it! Below, I share two cards I made using this suite.

Isn't the color combination just gorgeous? Here are the supplies used, along with dimensions:

I stamped the sentiment from the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, and trimmed it to size. Then, I cut some of the Forever Greenery ribbon to size so that it would extend slightly past the sentiment. After adhering the ribbon, I popped up the sentiment using Dimensionals.

This card is so simple to change up using any pack of DSP paper, as it will beautifully showcase the whole piece! I can't wait to try this with other DSPs!

Swap Card Using In The Pines

Happy Friday! A few weeks ago, I shared some photos of the cards I made for various swaps. The favorite among those on Facebook was the card using In The Pines, and I'm excited to finally share it with you today!

I used Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, and Mossy Meadow cardstock for this card. On the Mossy Meadow layer, I embossed trees using the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. Then, using Mossy Meadow ink, I stamped the trees and cut them out using the coordinating In The Pines dies. The sentiment is also from the In The Pines bundle.

Using DSP & Scraps to Make a Card

I'm excited to share a way to use up Designer Series Paper scraps to help make your card pop!

Both the yellow and red Designer Series Paper (or, patterned paper) is from the Playing with Patterns 6x6" DSP pack! The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, and the embellishments are the Resin Dots from the Playing with Patterns Suite.

I seriously love this card! I cut the ends of the scrap DSP at angles to add some interest behind the sentiment. This card was so quick to make, and I can't wait to get it in the mail!

Whale of a Time Thank You Card

I just recently got the Whale of a Time suite and have been loving it! It's so cute, and you can even use the Designer Series Paper and sentiments to make cards that are less "cartoon-y" if that's your style.

I used Designer Series Paper, ribbon, and the stamp set from the Whale of a Time suite. I stamped the sentiment using Versamark and then heat embossed it using White Embossing Powder and the Heat Tool.

A friend of mine recently asked me to make her a bunch of cards that she could send to her family and friends, and this is one of the cards I sent her!
