Isn't that dog SO darling?! I chose to not color him in on these cards so as to go with the monochromatic theme. I made these cards for a swap I'm participating in. They were not only pretty quick and simple to create, but they are also so cute!
The measurements for both of these cards are almost the same, but the red and blue panels are swapped between the two cards to give them both a slightly different look from one another. It's a bit difficult to tell in the picture, but I actually used my Simply Scored scoring board to create a distinct background on each of the colored panels!
- Pacific Point panel: Place cardstock diagonally on the board and score on every other line
- Daffodil Delight panel: Place cardstock straight on the board and score on every other line on both the horizontal and vertical sides (to make it look like a grid)
- Poppy Parade panel: Place cardstock diagonally on the board and score on every line
MEASUREMENTS
Thick Whisper White Cardstock
- 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (folded in half on the long side (or scored at 4-1/4"))
Whisper White Cardstock
- 5" x 3-3/4"
- Scrap for 2-1/4" circle punch
Color Panels (Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, and Pacific Point cardstock)
- Two (2) panels cut at 3-5/8" x 1-3/8"
- One (1) panel cut at 3-5/8" x 1-7/8"
Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3/4" for sentiment
