Today I’m participating in the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop! Our theme is “Movies & TV Shows.” I’ll be honest, I had to think of an idea for this blog hop for a few weeks, but finally had an idea come to me! My favorite TV show is “FRIENDS,” so I created an appropriately themed card!
I used the “FRIENDS” logo as inspiration. The triangles follow the order of the colored dots between each word… red, blue, yellow, red, blue, yellow. I also changed the “I’ll be there for you” title song lyrics to “I am here for you” and stamped them using the Make a Difference stamp set (which can be found in the Annual Catalog).
To play off of those colors (red, blue, yellow), I wanted to use the Stitched Triangle dies to spotlight each letter, which were cut out using the Playful Alphabet dies. Because the 6 triangles would have been too long for a normal size card, I decided to make a slim line card instead. This is my first ever slim line!
MEASUREMENTS
Basic White Cardstock
- (THICK) 9-1/2″ x 8-1/4″ scored in half on the long side at 4-1/8″
- (REGULAR) 9″ x 3-5/8″
- (REGULAR) Scraps for the letters and sentiments
- Scraps to die cut triangles (at least 1-3/4″ x 1-1/2″ for each triangle)

One of my all time favourite TV shows and one that spans the generations as both my sons love it as well despite not being born when it started! Love this card, great use of the dies 🙂
