BLOG HOP: Love is in the Air with Stampin’ Up’s Moving Along Stamp Set!

Hello and Happy Saturday, everyone! I am so excited to be participating in my FIRST Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop today! If you are new here, I’d like to share a little bit about myself! My name is Melissa and I live in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the USA. I have been stamping since I was 17 and I’ve been a demo for just shy of 5 years (my 5th anniversary is in March!). I love to create and to share that fun with everyone! I hope you enjoy the cards I’m sharing today, and be sure to “hop along” and view some other inspiration too!

When I saw the car image in the Moving Along stamp set (Annual Catalog, page 99), I knew I wanted to make a cute Lovebug card! Paired with the Playful Alphabet Dies, I was able to get two cards out of one die cut! You’ll see that one of the cards uses the cut out pieces and the other card uses the piece they were cut out of. The “hey” is from the Best Year stamp set.

The colors I used for these two cards are Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo, and Basic White. I adore this color combo! I love how the Moving Along stamp set has both the outline and filled in stamps. I stamped the outlines full strength, and stamped off before stamping the inside. I also used my Dark Melon Mambo Blend marker to add some specks to the cards!
