Happy Saturday, and welcome to a Paper Pumpkin blog hop! February's Paper Pumpkin kit, Bouquet of Hope, is uplifting and empowering with sentiments like "Thinking of You." Something else that's awesome?! It coordinates with the Flower and Field 6" x 6" Sale-a-Bration DSP! I love the coordination here, especially because I've been able to stock up on this DSP during Sale-a-Bration. By the way, can you believe that Sale-a-Bration ends TOMORROW (Feb 28)?!

To create this Paper-Pumpkin-inspired card, I didn't use anything from the kit! Instead, I wanted to focus on the Flower & Field DSP as it's just so beautiful. I picked this flower pattern as it matches the one in the kit, and the yellow polka-dot banner matches as well. I also liked how the kit had a longer sentiment that had both regular and script writing in it, so I used this sentiment from the Forever Blossoms stamp set.

Basic White Cardstock

  • (Thick) 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored in half at 4-1/4"
  • (Regular) 3" x 1/2" for the sentiment

Misty Moonlight Cardstock
  • 5" x 3-3/4"

Flower & Field DSP
  • 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" (flower piece)
  • 3-1/4" x 3/4" (yellow polka dot piece)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you've been inspired by my card and the other cards on this hop! Make sure to hop along with all of the other amazing crafters below. Under the blog hop list, you'll find a full list of supplies I used to create this card.
