Welcome to my blog for this month’s Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop! This blog hop features ideas from the June 2021 Expressions in Color kit! You’re sure to find some inspiration with your kit!
For my alternative card this month, I focused on the colors of the beautiful box. I used Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia, and then tied in Evening Evergreen by using some of the leftover twine from the kit.
The sequins are also leftovers from the original kit. I heat embossed the sentiment (using stamps from the provided stamp set!) with White Embossing Powder on Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I love how these two purples look together!
MEASUREMENTS
Basic White Cardstock
- (THICK) 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half at 4-1/4″
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 5″ x 3-3/4″
- 2-3/8″ x 1″ for the sentiment
Fresh Freesia Cardstock
- 4-7/8″ x 3-5/8″
